Corrections
If a number on this site does not match its source, or a source has published newer figures, please tell us which page and which figure. We check every report against the source and update the page and its “last checked” date when a correction is needed.
Questions about an estimate
We can explain how an estimate was put together, but we cannot give advice about a specific home, product or installer, and we cannot tell you whether you will be approved for a program. For those questions, a licensed contractor, your local building department or the program office is the right place to ask.
Partnerships
Manufacturers, retailers and installers can write to the same address. We do not accept payment to change an estimate, a ranking or a recommendation.
